The Co-founder of Contemporary Arts Inc., Barbara Harrell Grubbs has served the organization for over 20 years as an administrator, grants writer, record producer and arts presenter. Her dedication to the preservation and advancement of the jazz art form through performance and education has been invaluable to Contemporary Arts Inc. and the arts community.  Barbara is a former educator and teacher/mentor, retiring from Baltimore City Public Schools after 29 years of service.
