Upon graduating from Gettysburg College, Caitlin Kirby worked in Undergraduate Admissions at the University of Maryland, College Park and American University, and then as a Recruiter and Project Manager at Fannie Mae in Washington, DC, while completing her M.S. in Human Resource Management from UMUC. While staying home with her 3 children, she remained active in her community, holding leadership roles in More Than Moms- a social group for new mothers, assisted with event planning and fundraising for the March of Dimes Signature, created and managed an online resale clothing business, and she became the Community Leadership Board Chairperson at the YMCA in Catonsville. When she returned to the workforce, she did so as the Assistant to the Executive Director at the Catonsville Chamber of Commerce, assisting businesses and managing networking events. During the pandemic, to balance her family and professional life, she started her own consulting business, managing the social media and marketing needs of small businesses and non-profit organizations in her hometown of Catonsville. In her free time, she enjoys participating in a cross-fit workout group, supporting her childrens’ arts and athletic interests, and spending time with friends.
