Steve Iampieri
Owner of Iamps at Jennings Café
Steve Iampieri has had a passion for the restaurant business since he was 14 years old when he held his first job as a dishwasher at Mr. Steak. Steve says that the business is in his blood and that was confirmed when, upon graduating from York College, he spent a decade after managing and transitioning his family’s bar, Westway Liquors/Iampieri’s Bar. An acknowledged leader in the hospitality industry, Steve is the founder and President of his own restaurant consulting company and in that role he has successfully assisted in the opening of more than 12 local restaurants. Steve has held the position of Secretary and Board Member of the Restaurant Association of Maryland Education Foundation and has served on the Culinary Program Board for Maryland Job Corps. Currently, Steve serves as an advisor for Lincoln Technical Culinary Institute, is a Board Member on the Anne Arundel Community College Culinary Board, and serves as Vice President of the Catonsville Restaurant Association. You can usually find Steve entertaining guests and motivating his dedicated staff at Iamps at Jennings Cafe on Frederick Road in Catonsville, where he is the proud owner and operator of the A&E District business. When Steve isn’t behind the bar or in the kitchen, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family or playing golf at the Rolling Road Country Club.
